You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Shit, Suela, that is lucky neighbors, but jesus.

I am Prided out. Saw two different girls Friday I would've loved to see again, but didn't. Saw my ex every 30 seconds Friday, but only a couple times Saturday and not at all today. And after hitting the parade and then chilling at the bar for a few hours, I'd almost given up and was feeling kinda down about the whole thing, but a friend agreed to go back to the bar for more chilling and then put up with me being a 7th grader until I finally (after like, eight "let's just walk past...") talked to her. And then talked to her friend for a solid 15 minutes while I flirted...and didn't hate me when finally I was like "OK, nice to meet you gotta go bye!" when I decided she was too drunk to bother with, no matter how cute she was. Yay good friend...and yay up note at the end of Pride (because hey, she might've been drunk, but she was cute and flirting with me). And never again until next year will I see as many women out at once. Sigh.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Very lucky, 'suela. And I am glad for it. Good neighbors. Bad kids! Glad that there wasn't worse damage. Hedges can be replanted and, with time, will grow up big again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My father's missing. He went out for a walk yesterday afternoon and never came home. So of course I'm not doing much sleeping, and am really hoping he turns up soon.

Of course you aren't sleeping, Jesse. I am sorry. I hope he's safely home soon. Is there anything we can do?

Librarian Warlord

Jesse, I hope he's home by the time you read this, but he and your family will be in my thoughts until he is. If there is some way we can help from our computers by posting to, or monitoring local or social media, please let us know.
