Yay msbelle's brother!
I said it on facebook, but either just say no to the beets, or leave yourself a note on the toilet!

That would be helpful, but also hilarious. BEEEEEETS.
Congrats to G! Very exciting.
I love Target sports bras, esp. the champion ones with the less restrictive band. Frustratingly, I really don't need them, but the champion ones with the bra integrated into the shirt are so tight I have to have bob bob take it off me. When I broke my arm, we cut it off with scissors. I don't know how women who need the compression run with it-- I feel like I get less breath and that it encourages heartburn/cramping.
I spent $17 on fruit at the market this morning. Two kinds of cherries, blueberries, strawberries...first peaches just appeared, but I'll wait. Got another grilled portobello and pesto sandwich, this time on a rosemary ciabatta. NOW. That was breakfast and lunch.
Now I either need to clean or go to the pool. Except storms are predicted at 2, so I'll aim for 3. I don't want to clean!

TJs has a flat of about 14 peaches for $6, and I couldn't resist. Now I have to figure out what to do with them before they go bad. I'm thinking about just taking my apple crisp recipe and substituting peaches and seeing how it turns out. Couldn't be that bad, right?
I don't understand why you can't be in an indoor pool in storms. Is there an actual reason?
That's pretty much what I do, Steph. When I'm not making a cake with em.
I might add some ginger to the spices, and maybe slivered almonds if you have them. Otherwise, sounds delish.
If you have any Cointreau around the house, soaking either apples or peaches in it for a couple of hours first really ups the ante.

I put ginger in my apple crisp (I think Suzi gave me the idea, because the recipe didn't originally call for it), so I'm covered there. And I know there are slivered almonds in the pantry -- that sounds excellent.
