Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

YAY!

Yay!

(God, I've worn bras for 27 years!!!!!)

My fb is filling up with pictures of the rainbow from my local friends. Love.

Gonna get Quality Time with Karen tomorrow: market then driving her to pick up her car. Hers is much newer than my old one (only 7 years,) and yet she'd had it in the shop almost as much as I did mine. It reaffirms my decision to buy a new one and have payments. We've given each other a LOT of rides to the mechanic in the past year. I'm happy to just hopefully be giving the rides for a good long while.

Sophia, was it on Facebook or here that you said eating beets is no good for hypochondriacs? You are not wrong!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I find it a little overwhelming. Not in a good way.

Whether you like them or not, they're not like the other toys.

I rave about my sports bra of choice all the time, but it's comfortable, fastens like my other bras, and makes my rack look AWESOME.

I finally found a brand I like—Moving Comfort: [link]

My favorite is the Vixen type. I do have to wrestle my way in and out of them, but they fit great (and, indeed, make my rack look awesome).

This is the first time I've really seriously worn sports bras, in this case, a la Target. It used to be that racerbacks totally triggered neck pain leading to headache so I didn't even bother. Now regular bras kinda fuck with my shoulders, and racerbacks relieve that. The sports bras (champion medium) aren't super flattering but they feel good and are what I live in on the weekends and walks to the pool. I wouldn't do anything bouncy in them, but walking? Good enough. I'm weirded out by this. I haven't had any of the previous be true for something like 20 years. Well, except for the not flattering part.

Someone I've never got a group email from sent me and twenty of her closest friends and family this [link] Which is pretty funny--#12 especially, but this is the first time I've shared an email with Moyston Cumming.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Finding a sports bra that fits the girls has been a major challenge, but I've had good luck with Wacoal and Natori. I especially like that they've got clasps in the back rather than being pull-over style.

Chips and salsa, for me.

Dear everywhere else that gets hot summer weather: you can have it back. Please, take it back.

Work today involved a BBQ party on the rooftop deck. My co-workers snickered at my parasol for about 10 minutes, and then realized that it was broiling and there was no shade. They stopped mocking me
