Karma is a cat, sleeping in my lap cuz it loves me. ~TS

When I was first interviewed for my current job (almost 13 years ago, yikes!), my not-yet boss was wearing shorts and flip-flops.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My old CEO had a rule against "thong sandals," so we had a lot of debates about whether that just meant flip-flops or also nicer sandals that happen to have a thing between your toes.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

My old CEO had a rule against "thong sandals," so we had a lot of debates about whether that just meant flip-flops or also nicer sandals that happen to have a thing between your toes.

That would be a rule against thing sandals.

You would think!

But you'd have another think coming.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

When the CEO has a thing against it, does that mean an automatic no?

We are finally home. I'm already tired of my children and they are tired of me. Tomorrow I will be sure to go to the gym for my two hours so I can get 2 hours child free.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We were never sure if she'd be OK with nicer thong sandals, and didn't want to risk it. Which does cut down on your options.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm getting ready to make a steak. There are a few brown patches on it. The sell-by date is June 30 (i.e. in three days).

Safe to eat?

Should be fine unless it smells funny, Tommy.

Nope. Smells like a fresh hunk of dead cow, I guess.

Thanks.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

This is reminding me of the time an older costume designer told a bunch of college age boys that they would be wearing thongs ans socks for the prison scene. Oh their faces!!!!

I have a very simple, good salad recipe for even salad haters, if you want to try it with your lettuce, Jesse.

1. put pieces of lettuce in bowl 2. sprinkle on sugar and pepper 3. splash on apple cider vinegar.

It is one of the best things I have ever tasted (although it only works with fresh from the garden/CSA/farm-stand lettuce). I will be eating a lot of it since I got 4 heads of lettuce and a large head of endive this week (plus more kale, peas, broccoli, garlic scapes and srawberries)
