Hey. New board.

did anyone watch the whole season of Nashville?

I did. The last 8 eps were pretty similar to the first 14 - a little addictive, a lot trashy, many infuriating moments, and good music. I doubt I'd be a fan if I didn't actually live in Nashville, but it's fine.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I've had a migraine the last two days, too. The pain was gone when I woke up this morning, but now I'm feeling pressure creep back underneath my cheekbones.

Me too, kind of. Since I'm back home, I am going to pelt it with drugs. And then a long nap, I hope.

smonster, I just got off the phone with someone in our DC office who has your name. She was very nice. I wanted to ask if she ever played rugby or had been to New Orleans.

I'll be taking (not dating?) some drugs and then slathering myself with SPF50 because I'm supposed to get on a boat in an hour.

Edit: man, my migraine word swaps have been hilarious the last few days.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

le nubian, I am sick to my stomach over that decision.

It's so, so effin' wrong.

From way back,

If anyone is driving between New Orleans and Galveston, they should say hi to my family in Port Arthur. (I basically don't know any of their names, but you could just yell HI real loud?)

Dude! You have family in Port Arthur? That's where my in-laws are from!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm out the door for my college reunion.

Tep, when you feel a disturbance in the force come Friday, that will be me entering Ohio. But today is Planes, Trains and Automobiles. (Yes, all three. Yes, plural.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Have fun, Hec!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've just gone over the first work product from the intern, and...why would you send out PDFs? I get that people of all stripes fail to spell check, but that's the first time I've been sent a two page document that's still being worked on as a PDF.

The Supreme Court's decision regarding the Voting Rights Act is the most egregious shit since Gore Vs. Bush.

In the words of Thomas Jefferson, "I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice will not sleep forever."
