Funny, I tell myself all the time that the worst thing that will happen to me if I fuck up at work is that I'll get fired. Because the small-shrewish-mammal part of my brain totally thinks it will get eaten.
So maybe y'all should put "did not get eaten" down as accomplishments.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.
I managed to refrain from putting "paying my mortgage" down as my objective on job applications, though that was always the first (and often the only) thing that came to mind.
I'd like money and health insurance. And some sense of being a useful person. I don't think that is what I am supposed to put down though.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks, everybody! 42 is pretty good, other than the migraine that developed out of the hangover, which, admittedly, I brought on myself. I think I caught it early enough that drugs are dialing it way down. And it didn't keep me home or anything; I managed to go out to my mom's for dinner and Graeter's.
A perfect birthday present would be for the stabbing sensation in my face to go the hell away. (And, if possible, for the dog to stop farting like death from 3 feet away. THAT IS NO GIFT KATO.)
