Saw my first firefly: happy first day of Summer!

Coincidentally saw my first tonight as well—it's a conspiracy!

My weekend is driving up to Kansas City to pick up a computer from Gudanov tomorrow.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jeez Aims, I have never heard of a poison ivy infection getting that bad.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm so sorry, sarameg.

And Aims, how scary for your friends. I hope she recovers soon.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

But before Paula goes, let us remember her greatest recipe.

Oh man, the first comment:

"This recipe is awesome. I added a pound of bacon and left out the peas. Delicious!"

Hey, shrift should come to Galveston, Houston, and New Orleans too

Hmm. You're going in September? I'm in Atlanta over Labor Day for DragonCon, but I think I'm available after that.

Fireflies are the one thing I miss that Seattle doesn't have. Sad.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Fireflies are the one thing I miss that Seattle doesn't have. Sad.

Fox cancelled them. (Sorry, it's the first thing my brain thinks)

I've actually never lived anywhere with fireflies. I wish I had. They look like wee mobile constellations, I think I'd love them. Unless they bite. I am anti-bitey.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

information libertarian

Fireflies do not bite. From my daughter's bedroom you can see the males in the tree, waiting to be lured down to the grass by the ladies, as my daughter put it. I hadn't realized they went 3rd story levels up in the air until she pointed it out to me.
