Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They have it on the menu at my work lunch place but teriyaki and cheese seem non mixy to me.

That would have been my guess as well.

It's my favorite week for lunch in the cafeteria! I missed the Italian sandwich yesterday, but got the Rueben today, and am already looking forward to the Buffalo chicken sandwich on Friday....

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I remain bored and completely confused about them not having things for me to do when work stops.

Terminal manager is back and doing his own work, I have made it clear that I have nothing to do and he gave me one task. He does not seem open to coming into my office and teaching me new things.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It's their way of asking you to surf the internet, buy things online, and stimulate the economy.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Teriyaki chicken baked potato with cheddar cheese and sour cream = lunchtime disappointment.

That's because it should have been teriyaki chicken AND a baked potato w/cheddar cheese and sour cream.

(Autocorrect tried to make that "dour cream")

Burrell I am doing everything in my power to keep my web surfing away from the shopping variey. I'll tell you what. I need to NOT forget my book. I may need to just have an extra emergency work book in my desk.

I "read" over 50 pages of suri's burn book today, people.

OTOH, my reading in general is way up since I started this job. 3 books since May 15.

Msbelle, if you start reading eBooks, they can be wherever you have a browser--at least, I'm assuming Amazon will let you, since BN does, and they never win.

Notice I didn't say e-Reader. Just ebooks.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There are a ton of free ebooks -- classics, I guess, but also Lawrence Block makes a short story free pretty often, and I'm sure he's not the only one.

ZQ!!!!! I think I need to save that for me.
