MARGARITA!!!

Hey, tequila is made from the agave plant. It's vegetable juice, just like drinking a V-8!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fred, it's a combo of discretionary and discount, if that makes sense. I don't always freak out the way most people will freak out, but seeing any total of dollars next to the count of things I'd bought--yikes. I didn't need enough of those things to need to save that much in the first place.

My other "can't just be me" gripe is when sites give the prime real estate to their "sign up" options and tuck "sign in" around the corner and down two flights of stairs. Fine, yes, you already have my info. But still pretend you think I'm pretty!

I can't remember which site it was that combined sign in and sign on into the same form--perhaps they had too many failed attempts at both for it to catch on--but allowing me to log in without leaving the home page would be a nice nod to not all the magic being lost between us. TUMBLR. Gmail still goes on date nights with me...

Hanging at the Ortho, doing an initial consult. I'm kinda scared to see the $ damage report. KCD has been so difficult about paying his share. I'm going to have to make sure I can cover the cost and hope he sacs up.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I just barely made it inside before the skies OPENED. Phew.

A dollar total can't be helpful. I got an email from the Vitamin Shoppe 30 days after buying something there, which is fair, except wouldn't I know if I were out?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Had a meeting with a not-for-profit company we have a relationship about getting shirts for the staff. They said they don't do silk screening, but a process called sublimation. Sounded high-tec . . .

It's iron-on transfers!!

They also claimed that they can't do light print on dark colors, but I KNOW MICHAEL'S SELLS THAT PRODUCT!!

Yeah, no. They're really cheap, but it's definitely a "pay for what you get" scenario.

Oh also, this interview? Apparently the big boss of the department is a nightmare. I'm...not so sure I want to get back into a situation like that.

WTF -- I just heard Brad Pitt doing the voiceover in an ad for Benjamin Moore Paint. I'm not sure why that is so shocking to me, but it is!

Is it a tie-in for a Ben Button sequel? Benjamin Button: More! In which we get to watch Ben live his life forwards, and all the many colors his room gets painted as he ages the right way.

He did do that odd perfume ad.

And, as expected, KCD is calling orthodontia a luxury he can't afford for at least a year. Doesn't help that his dental coverage doesn't include ortho coverage and we had used mine on CJ's Phase I work a bunch of years ago. One bummer of being at one company a long time, no new dental coverage to reset the ortho limits.

I can cover the cost, but I really want to get a committment from KCD that he will pay half, at some point. I'm willing to be flexible. I'm just not sure what to do next. I knew this was coming...doesn't make it easier.
