Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ah jeez -- the person I'm supposed to be interviewing with this afternoon is home sick. They offered to do it via Skype from their office, or to reschedule for later this week. I took a vacation day today, so I should do the Skype one, right? Ugh. Suboptimal for everyone!

I shared a link on Facebook about a little girl who made a protest of Westboro Baptist Church by selling pink lemonade. First of all that's pretty awesome. It still kinda weirds me out that one of the members used to be a co-worker of mine.

Our wings are not tired.

At least we can expect the Westboro members to show up for the thread funeral.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I saw that story from your link, Gud! Pretty cool stuff. She even looked a bit like Flea's Casper.

We're fogged in in San Francisco this morning. Emmett's first day of summer break. He rumbled out of bed, so JZ and I watching Mad Men, got a bowl of cereal and retired to his room where he's either scrolling through tumblrs or reading the latest Badass book. (Which I recommend for all history loving peeps.)

This morning I traded my customary 2-mile walk for an hour of vigorous back exercise. Reset the NGA clock to zero!
