I'm with everyone on the photo thing. Heck, even getting a side-eye glimpse in the mirror sometimes startles me on how different I look at different angles, as opposed to straight-on. I'm horrified people see me at all angles, because I feel like I look much worse from the side...but then I try to remind myself that I don't feel that way about anybody I know ("OMG, he's so hot when you look right at him but the side view is AWFUL!"). And when I saw my college roommate last month, she was hating on her nose, and i was like "Seriously? I wouldn't ever have thought of that, your nose is fine!" and she was like "No, I always wanted your nose!" So, people are weird.
(Also, Maria you are lookin' DARN good in those pics you've been posting, I say keep eating the good food!)

meara, those are carefully posed. I specifically turn a bit to the side to get the most flattering perspective. Sometimes I feel like an impostor at this because I still have love handles and belly fat, and my inside thighs are too fat, and my arms--while muscular--are not as toned as I want them to be.
