The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Probably before. My kids are early birds.

Before would work great for me if it could be in my area (and I would love to see you all of course), but that might not be the best for you/other people. Where are you staying?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's Jai Courtney, an Australian actor

Oh, and he was in Jack Reacher too! Doubling up on movies I'll never see him in.

Thanks, Matt.

So, Colorado is on fire again. The Denver area is in the middle of three fires and yesterday afternoon, it didn't matter which direction you looked, there was smoke everywhere. CJ's team is on standby to help with the evacuations for one of the fires.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Successfully earwormed by SCOTUS. Who knew that was even on my bucket list?

Coloradans, be safe!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I know, right?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Keeping an eye on SCOTUS today too.

Stay safe, Colorado! Wildfires are fucking terrifying.

Scandinavia and the World

I never know who they are. I have to look up their flags.

Woo, nothing like a series of super unflattering photographs to make you realize exactly how much weight you put on while stress eating.

Dear god, this. I am the Walrus, really, it was me all along.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ugh, I hate seeing pictures of myself where I don't look nearly as good as my self-image in my head.

Good thing the first - who has two thumbs and a clean drug screen? This guy. I officially start Monday, woohoo! Getting a little excited at the prospect - I'll be able to budget both time and money!

Good thing the second - I had to run out to my car to get my lunch, and spotted two jackrabbits squaring off in the parking lot. I tried to get a picture, but I think they were too far away for my phone's zoom.

-t, come visit Colorado (when it isn't on fire) and you will see wild rabbits all over the place.

My mental image of myself doesn't match photographic evidence. So I try to stay on the other side of the camera.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

If anything, I guess it will help me appeal to my vanity to stop eating all the things because of anxiety, although vanity as a motivator gets less compelling as I get older. Especially since I'm fit enough to walk 9 miles and barely feel tired. Unfortunately, exercise alone will not defeat the pooch, because otherwise it'd be gone by now.

They are pretty common around here, actually, but I don't usually see them when I can stop and watch them for a little while. So that was nice.
