I am pushing back on the director and telling him that my volunteering to help his project past a hurdle was not the same thing as me volunteering to feed the baby in the middle of the night. I am way too close to my last screaming breakdown in the ER to be juggling with my sleep patterns again--that's one thing I really want to get out of the job change--new boss likes working late in the evenings, but I'll take that over early in the mornings, hands down, since everyone clearly wants more than 40 hours out of you.
And I am not going to feel self-conscious about protecting my health and well-being, dammit.
