How scary, Connie. So glad everyone is safe. I can't imagine not wearing a helmet on a scooter, seems like an unnecessary risk.
BTW I love how many buffistae have a litter room in the house. Our back bathroom has basically been given over to the litter box as well.
Grace has a fever. I am worried that she has pneumonia. I realize it's 3AM, but I can't get back to sleep, while I wait for her pulse and temp to go down.
Poor boo, and poor you. Do you have one of those fingertip things to check her oxygen level?
Laura, yes. She wears it when she sleeps, in case she has a mucous plug and her 02 falls. Were it not for the monitor, we'd all be asleep.
I hope the fever responds quickly and that you can all get some rest. That whole breathing thing, not overrated.
Note to self: remember to check that you are wearing pants before your 10am Google Hangout with professional collaborators.
I hope you got some sleep, Kat, and that Grace is better this morning.
And I hope you remember to wear pants, flea.
I'm going to try to bake eggs in the microwave with salsa and sour cream. That seems like it should work.
Grace's respiration is down to below 100 which is good. More ibuprofen today in the hopes that we can keep this abated.
If it is pneumonia, may you figure it out quickly, Kat. One of the things I have observed about that nasty beast is that it can hide so effectively.
And now it's Arthur's turn. He's lost weight and increased thirst lately, so we took him in for bloodwork. Turns out his kidneys are bad. We're scheduling an ultrasound to see if it's just a kidney stone or something else fixable.
Dammit, the little goofball isn't even 3 yet!
(If you're on FB, Arthur is the flamepoint in my avatar.)
