The toyota didn't smell baaad, per se, just like a car shop- grease and gas. It was the one with the high miles.
I'm gonna miss them. Buying new, I have to stick with dealerships for a bit, but I'll totally go back to them when I'm off the hook.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Worst houseguest ever
No, awesome houseguest.
I do love my Subaru in almost every way and would encourage a look at the Imprezas if they at all fit your needs. They aren't hybrids at all but get pretty great mileage.
And if you are okay going small don't forget to check out the prius c as well. Cheaper than the main prius and even better efficiency. Plus I think it looks better.
I'm jealous that I'm not house-guesting with Cass and Lee.
Today we needed a replacement nurse for Grace and the agency actually had one lined up. Who didn't show up. Which I found out about at 7:00, which is also, interestingly the time I have to leave to get to work on time. Also, I had to give and grade a final today. AND then submit all of my grades.
So Grace came to school with me.
I had a 8554 things to do, so I kept leaving her in my classroom playing. I was gone too long at one point and she had an accident. So we went to Target to get new clothes and then when I got back, I accidentally threw my car keys away in the trash can and didn't realize it. Blech.
One of my co-workers was on the phone with his wife. He was saying how jealous he was that Grace was there and his two kids weren't. Um. Dude. My kids only come to school with me because I have inadequate options when things don't go as planned. You have a stay-at-home wife which means you never EVER have to take your kids to work. Stop bitching. Also, how can you afford your stay at home wife on your salary since I make at least 7.5% more than you do?
We drove a Prius C and it actually felt too small. It would only seat 2 in the back and, even if it's not something we need a lot, I like the option of being able to seat 3 in the back. The steering wheel felt tiny to me too.
I like how the Prius C looks, though. There's something about its size that is appealing. I love my Saturn, but I think we are almost at the point where the twins don't need so much space.
I know it's a long week and I'm tired when I keep thinking "I want a Pimm's cup" and I'm either too lazy to stop to get one or too lazy to make one at home (which would require going to buy a cucumber).
I did make mac and cheese with bacon for dinner, but surprisingly I'm not as satisfied as I would like.
My biology hates me. Both sides are playing broken. I don't have enough ice/hot packs for this!
Even though I have a perfectly good car and the State of Virginia discourages owning multiple vehicles, I keep thinking about other cars I'd like to buy. One of them is the Subaru Outback. Another is a Chevy Blazer. Yes, these are my fantasy cars.
You and my mom. She test drives for fun. The only other car I entertain is the one that woulda been cheaper and I need not go down that hole.
I'm so not a car person. Except for wanting stick.
Finally...made...it...to...the...end...
Condolences,Consuela.
Now I have to go to bed.
