Jury duty, woo hoo. We had a long boring orientation, and now I guess we wait around to see if there are any jury trials that need jurors. There are 160 of us, so obviously we won't all be needed.
We can use computers, the Internet, etc. They told us we can take breaks (while we're waiting to see if we get seated on a trial), and told us that the hallway on our floor goes all the way around in a square and 7 laps is 1 mile. Maybe I'll get some exercise in! Maybe I can get some fellow jurors to do the squats challenge!
The waiting room has cable, and some fool turned OFF Zoolander. He is not going to be my juror BFF.

So I guess I did get some color on my face over the weekend, because my makeup is noticeably too light today. So that's nice.
Also, I have too much going on my personal life to really work this week, I think. Staying with my dad tonight and tomorrow, the funeral Wednesday, an appointment with my mom on Friday... Oy vey.

Poor Emmett. BTDT, except it was totally beer or Boone's Farm cheap wine when I was his age. I drank enough beer before I turned 21 that it lasted me a lifetime. I have likely only had 3 beers in the last few decades, and that was when there was no other option at outdoor hot events.

He was! He was up and around by yesterday afternoon. We took a long walk to get some air and sunshine and set his circadian rhythms, and the whole family went to bed by 9pm.
