Jesus, Connie. What a horrible pile of stress to add onto the whole horribly stressful experience.

It actually makes me kind of grateful for my mother's death, which had a very thoughtful and attentive and helpful hospice Nurse and we were all around her at the end. It was quiet and intense but she knew she was loved.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It actually makes me kind of grateful

I am so grateful for Elizabeth Hospice. They were with us for my Grandma and for my Dad. And they made it something like easier though nothing makes it easier. They made the process seem to make some sense and I never felt like we were horribly alone.

It's a very difficult time. I'm sorry we have to live through it so often.

The hospice people were nice, but the communications screwups -- of which there were multiple -- really frustrated me.

I think I'll sleep okay tonight, at last, after some good scotch with my sister & best friend.

I'm glad tomorrow will be cooler.
