A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My apartment is a hundred fucking degrees, because I refuse to put on the a/c. I may go to the supermarket to cool off.

Better and better, ita !

Oy, Dana. (That seems to be the only response.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Jesse, I have a recipe for Avocado and Jalapeno Stuffed Eggs if you want it. Also Chipotle Chile; Anchovy with Capers; Smoked Salmon and Potato with Caviar; Italian Tuna; and Cream Cheese and Chutney if any of those appeal.

t /belated ita and Ginger font Sorry about that, y'all, I knew better.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

You know what's less effort, and doesn't require you leaving the house? TURN ON THE A/C.

t you may opt to respect your electric bill more than I respect mine

t but a/c really is the bomb diggety

Thanks, -t! The gist is probably plenty -- I never use measurements, anyway.

Steph, the other half of my problem is the dreaded smoking, which I do in the house, but with the window open. I want to have a window open half the time anyway, so it doesn't make any sense to cool off the apartment before bedtime.

I guess running the A/C with a window open is crazytown bananapants? I ask while currently not running my own swamp cooler because when we took it apart a couple of weekends ago it turned out the pump was burnt out and fixing the loudly rattling fan is way more complicated than I thought because someone has welded it in spots and other spots the metal has actually broken and probably the whole thing should just be replaced but that is too big a job for me to think about right now. So I'm hot. Maybe I'll go to the movies this weekend, soak up their cold air.

The gist is pretty much like you would guess - minced jalapeno, mashed avocado, cilantro that I'm sure could be left out depending on one's preferences, green onions, lime juice. No mayo needed, because of the avocado, is the main thing.

I think so! When I'm paying for electric, for sure.

Fair enough. Heat sometimes make you do the wacky, is all I'm saying.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think so! When I'm paying for electric, for sure.

Don't think of it as paying for electric; think of it as paying for a smoke.

Congrats on the job changes, -t!
