That is surprising. I thought driving in snow was one of the three things Canadians are extra good at.
It's only the first day. Then calm and good driving return to the land.
So I work in a building that is on the campus of a university. The student union are having a puppy room at the beginning of exam time. Genius! [link]

We have this in Upstate/Western NY as well. Every year.
Oh, no, Consuela! I wish they'd just give you your damn job so you can concentrate on worrying about your parents. ANd then that your parents would not worry you so much. While I'm wishing, ponies for everyone!
Or maybe puppy rooms for everyone. I like the idea of puppies you can visit and play with but someone else takes care of...
Gads Consuela, I'm sorry about everything that's coming your way right now.
I wouldn't want to clean a puppy room.
Oh, right, what I came here to post about - interview done, I think it wet well. I could do this job, no question in my mind, the pay is a little low but the commute is short and, really, I kind of expect to get low pay after a big old gap in employment like I've just had. They are looking for two bookkeepers, so I am pretty confident that they will probably want to at least meet with me.
The staffing agency mostly places people for manual labor positions, so I was way overdressed in the waiting area. Which is kind of good, being overdressed makes me feel powerful.
Our new puppy, Gunnar, is getting big. Sometimes I wish somebody else could take care of him as he's like a 38 pound (he's grown since the below post) toddler right now.
I just had a blog post about it: [link]
I'm glad it went well. Good luck -t!
