Man, workplace "I told you so" doesn't often taste that good. Because we're all on the hook. I
told
the developer he'd been sent back to examine the entire approach for the solution, not just add requirements to the presentation (which I ended up redoing anyway), and when he started presenting they asked "Didn't you say all this last week? What about re-examining the whole approach?"
I didn't tell anyone I was on the call. I couldn't be arsed. But I will be prepared when they all "circle back" with me. Just because I think we shouldn't be re-examining the whole approach doesn't mean I don't get that we've been asked to.
Man, I blink, and just...the number of followers on my fanart tumblr more than doubled over the long weekend. Now I feel all...expectationed.
I'm sullen about my coworkers because they cannot be arsed to follow the Flickr tagging system I set up, and I know that when I leave, it will all go to hell. It will be a beautiful thing that I set up that descends into chaos and poor metadata.
Note 1 for the day: More arsing. There is just not a professional level of arsing happening.
There is no arsing at my job, ever. And my immediate boss just told us he's giving notice on Friday.
We are all very gloomy.

I am trying to do everything that can be done. We are leaving the office early for an off-site meeting and I know my days are about to become much busier since I have now been taught things.
so expense reports, purchard card reconciliation, making files, filing papers, data entry...

My head is aching, not quite in a migraine direction, but pain and distraction. Basic pain meds aren't touching it. If I scale up, then I need to stop working and with the holiday, I'm already a day behind on the week. Trying to soldier on.
Apparently a train just derailed in east/east of (Essex?) Baltimore and there was an explosion that people felt all over the city.
I felt nuthin'.
I'm prepping to leave for the airport shortly. The construction behind my house tore down the house behind me last week, and this morning at 8AM started shoveling it into a dumpster with a backhoe. Oh, this is going to be not fun. Ugh.
Also, periods suck. I feel like they ought to be more akin to using the bathroom--a semi-voluntary function, where at some point you feel like you need to go, so you do. Bam. We ought to be able to like, clench our uteruses once a month as needed and get rid of it, and not bleed for days, on no preferred schedule. Hrmph!!
