Permission can seem like the default to some people. You can block the app. I keep blocking anything ending in -ville or wars.

Has anyone else seen World Market's "Life of Pi sweepstakes"? "Win an epic adventure to India inspired by the film" Um... Is this a boat trip? It does say "to India" not "in India".
Makes me wonder if anyone in their marketing department read the book.
