I walk. I talk. I shop, I sneeze. I'm gonna be a fireman when the floods roll back. There's trees in the desert since you moved out. And I don't sleep on a bed of bones.

Our wings are not tired.

Sara, hope that didn't come across as a "you shouldn't have done that!" Re-fi id different than the initial house buy, in terms of lots of things, as you know. And your new car was a necessity - mine wasn't. I still have my old car! I think I'm going to try and turn my new Forester in for something better tailored to my commute, but I love it so much that I continue to waffle.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Hey, the orb is out today! It's been cold and dreary this week; sure glad the pools are opening this weekend!

IOAnnoyingN, the rash I had is back. But nowhere near as bad as it was the last time. It's mostly on my neck, now, and, while irritating, is not as bad as the horrible neck AND legs AND girly parts annihilation that occurred last time. Going to the doc in an hour to get more drugs (prednisone worked last time) although this time, it feels like I have a UTI to go along with it.

Ah, well. Last Memorial Day, I broke my arm and slept on it, then drove 75 miles like a BOSS on it. I can handle a rash.

Must finish coffee and hop in the shower here in a few.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'd rather go to the dentist than haggle, do financial paperwork, spend lots of $ or make financial choices with long term implications.

At least the dentist gives you anesthesia.

You might want to check with them if you don't hear anything by Tuesday, Connie. Sometimes they just screw up.

I just spent three hours trying to install a router on my neighbor's computer. Note the trying part.

Oh, no, not at all. Just mocking myself. I tend to , well, snowball isn't the word. But gather up a lot of things that for me are drama-riffic and then dothemallatonceinacrazeddementedfrenzy. And am generally a mess.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm signed up for Glassdoor, but it's never been particularly useful to me. They will occasionally send me job listings for positions completely unrelated to my field or skillset. (Which is admittedly my fault for having a title which exists in every industry but doesn't ever describe the same job twice.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jessica, if I email you the name, can you tell me (morbid curiosity) what the last two comments on my employer are?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

They have left me alone to man the doublewide. So today I start answering phones. Let's hope I don't screw anything up.

3.75 more hours alone up in here is gonna get tired though. I am gonna need to bring in some radio or something. Our internet has firewalled any streaming anything.

How much do I love Origins Ginger Burst Shower gel? SOOO much. OK, I am womanfully holding onto my full bladder, and am showered and OMG, my hair when wet reaches below mid-back. Also? I dyed it a couple of weeks ago, since I hadn't in 5 months, and I was desperate and broke, so I used this dye I had that was red highlights for Black hair, and IT IS MY ONE TRUE RED DYE now. SO bright. I love it.

(OK, that sucked up enough time that I will not be horridly early for my appointment! Wish me no UTI and rash-heal!)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I have an unexpected day off, after several vacation days. The house I was scheduled to work at tonight, several of the people there are going to their family homes for the holiday weekend. The rest of the staff who are scheduled to work are part-timers and do not have much in the way of PTO to use. I, on the other hand, must find a way to use at least 100 hours this year, as I have accumulated up to the limit they allow us to carry over. That does not include the ten floating holidays which they give in lieu of holiday pay. So anyway, me taking an extra day off now will not hurt my paycheck. It is sunny, 63˚F, breezy, and it won't rain until 7pm or so. Fed Ex just delivered the new white 1500 thread count sheets I got on clearance at Amazon.com. So I have popped them in the washer, and wiped down the clothes line (first time of using it after the long, long, long winter. Tonight I shall sleep in fresh, sun-dried luxury.

Envy me.
