I'm sorry about Jeeves, Anne, but I'm sure he got a good life with you. (Also, that's a great name for a cat.)
And at least one of my contacts has basically blown me off. Bah. Dear god, I hate job-hunting. Happily, I met someone from that firm at the networking function last night and she was going to mention me around...
Anne, I'm sorry about Jeeves.
good luck on the interview, ~t!
Sorry about Jeeves, Anne.
I don't like lobster. Or crab. Too sweet.
I can handle crab in cakes and sushi (or, I suppose, in leg form if I want to spend 15 minutes digging for a tiny bite), but I once ordered some harumaki that was basically jumbo frankfurter-sized rolls of crabmeat with a dough shell and I ended up nauseous from the sweet.
But anyone who doesn't like lobster is welcome to send me all their unneeded ones. I too would like to test this "lobstered out" theory for myself.
All I have to contribute today?
I love me some shrimp.
Anne, I am so sorry about Jeeves.
I love shrimp, lobster, and crab! Steamed blue crab is my fave of the three but I know a lot of that is the ritual around it.
I love lobster and crab, but lately shrimp seems mostly tasteless to me.
And now that I am caught up here,
Hey, remember how I was lamenting the lack of raclette recently?
It's in San Francisco! Cowgirl Creamery at the Ferry Building does it now!
I've seen it at both Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.
Also, mmm seafood. Not much of it I don't like.
Going to hopefully go test drive a car in a little bit.
