And my grandmother wouldn't think to check in, but she did just send me a silly email with pictures of kids & animals.

Natter 71: Someone is wrong on the Internet
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I am so relieved. My friend checked in. her husband works 2 miles away from touchdown. I think she is really overwhelmed right now - and she is a quite sensitive sort. I think I'll check in with her again in a week or 2.
If anyone hears of good charities in OK for people to donate, can you post here? I can check them out at the charity checker, but I prefer to donate to local agencies and plan to do so in 2-4 weeks when they still need $$ but after initial interest has likely gone away.
So scary to hear all the OK news! I'm glad buffistae and their peeps are doing alright.
Wow, I took a 24 hour break from the Internet mostly to clean, and horrible things happen and I do not hear about them. My thoughts are with the OK people.
I have been cleaning for about 22 of the past 24 hours for in inspection of my apartment. It is a city inspection tomorrow, but landlords are coming at 9am to check.
How early is too early to vacuum? Or is it better to not vacuum, and leave the vacuum out like I tried? I still have to wash the kitchen floor and get ready for work.
Getting a ride to the mechanic's this am. Next up, connect with broker and dealer.
Eep, Sophia. What are they inspecting for? I think you can vacuum at 8, for sure.
Sophia, if this is really a question, I would say, vacuum the floor. Leaving the vacuum out might speak to good intentions, but doesn't get the job done. OTOH, if you really don't have time, a dirty floor is probably not what they're concerned about.
Well, my vacuum just broke, anyway.... I sucked up the big spots with the hose.
They are inspecting my landlord. Last time he had to put in a carbon monoxide detector and a railing for my stairs. I think I can fix the vacuum and vacuum for tomorrow.
le n, I am not sure how you feel about religiously connected donations, but UMCOR [link] is where I give. From their website: "UMCOR spends 100 percent of designated donations on the projects our donors specify."
This is their disaster response page: [link]
They did not have a link up for OK, but I assume it will be up today.
