Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

Aaaand straight to voicemail. Ok, then, while I'm bleeding money, might as well call the gutter people.

Thanks be for advanced driver training!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh geez, Sara! Can you put off one of these things??

Hey, might as well knock things off my to-do list while I'm sitting on my ass.

Aaand dealer just called. Put him off, need to talk to mortgage guy first. But they'll bring a car for a test drive?

I like my cats. They're maxing out the cuddles, sapping my will to pick up the phone. In a bit.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yikes, Sox! Glad everyone is okay (even if the car won't be).

And Steph, I'm totally with you on the WHAT NOW, LIFE?!! train. Argh.

So it's my last week of work and I have two new dresses to wear, courtesy of the clearance racks at Ross. (Nothing beats getting a Calvin Klein sheath dress for $20.) At least I don't look like I'm too depressed.

I do have a call to make today to one big firm, and a meeting/interview on Thursday. Which is a little odd, because the guy emailed asking about a lunch meeting, and then set the time for 2:30 PM. Who has a lunch meeting in mid-afternoon? I shall probably have to eat first anyway, because if I don't, I'll be too hungry to concentrate.

Mom is somewhat recovered from how she was on Friday, when she couldn't get out of bed and seemed on the edge of unconsciousness. Yesterday she was up and dressed, but barely ate 400 calories during the day and spent all her time in a fog of confusion. I have no idea what to expect anymore.

Glad you and everyone else is okay, Sox. Sounds scary.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm glad everyone's OK, Sox. Sorry about having buy a car.

ION, I had to explain to my youngest son why no one wants to be a Cyberman. He thought people would want to live forever, so I had to explain the downsides.

not your mom's socks.

Thanks -- I'm looking at zipcar as an option. I'd love to not replace this car.

Sarameg, I may need to come down and pet the kittehs.

Consuela - the dress sounds fabulous. You will look amazing.
