Right! I think maybe I thought they should've saved Banderas for Marius. Leo might have been about right for Armand at the time. It's been so long since I've visited the books or the movie my memory is fuzzy.
He could have pulled off a Marius with a non-Celt background. I'd have accepted that. I mean, Anne Rice changes narrators and then facts with each book. But Armand is a sullen, religiously bonkers teenager. With auburn hair. But mostly immortal petulant teen.
now two of our presenters have admitted to having an affair with each other and are banned from appearing onscreen together.
Really? I mean we're that invested in other people's morality that they can't be on tv together?
Which warrants a big old "Really, humanity? REALLY?"
Oh. Right.
I want to give humanity the benefit of the doubt but it does always let me down.
The vacation is to Disney, so I should have included that $150/day is park tickets. Airfare is $615 RT per person so that averages to another $100/day. I guess that means hotel and food are $450/day.
Really? I mean we're that invested in other people's morality that they can't be on tv together?
When they're news presenters working for a publically funded organization in which the public has (rightfully) lost a HUGE amount of trust lately....yeah. At least until they've both divorced the spouses they're cheating on, they don't get to work together right now.
It looks like the tabloids in the UK are having a feeding frenzy on this.
Is that staying in the park, msbelle? I would imagine those hotels would be way more expensive than outside, but would also mean you wouldn't need to rent a car, right? Many factors!!
I read somewhere that wild animals will eat cigarettes because the nicotine kills intestinal worms. Not sure if this is fact.
I know tobacco is used as a pesticide. Doesn't seem like a reach that native animals would chew a native leaf medicinally.
Yes it is an onsite hotel and no rental car needed. I think it's fine, I am just trying to figure out if my mom and dad freak out.
I wish we could the airfare down more around $500 RT, but that seems near impossible.
This is the second time a major Chinese newspaper has run with an Onion story it thought was real:
China's top paper goes to town with 'sexy' North Korea's Kim
BEIJING (Reuters) - China's top newspaper went to town on Tuesday with a 55-page online picture spread of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un being named The Onion's "Sexiest Man Alive for 2012", appearing to fall for a spoof by the U.S. satirical website.
Seemingly clueless as to the real nature of The Onion's tongue-in-cheek award for Kim, the People's Daily splashed full-page photographs of the portly young leader riding horses, clapping his hands, waving and clasping children's cheeks on his tours around North Korea.
"With his devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heartthrob is every woman's dream come true," the English online edition of the People's Daily quoted The Onion as saying.
A number of years ago a Chinese paper based a story on an Onion article about how Congress was demanding Washing DC pay for a new building with a retractable roof, or else Congress would move to a different city. It was funny when Western reporters called the Chinese newspaper and the paper denied the Onion was the source of its reporting.
On-site Disney hotels are crazy expensive, so $450/day including food is probably a decent deal.
Yeah, for Disney that sounds more on target.
