I'm facilitating (i.e., making sure most people keep their mics muted) a meeting on leadership training. I'm not sure I've ever heard the word "vision" used so much outside of an optician's office before.

I'm taking some much needed time off for the rest of the week. My BFF is coming to stay with me for a few days, which is also very much needed. My poor kitty isn't doing very well. I'm having to syringe-feed him now. Fortunately, he doesn't mind this, and actually perks up when I inform him that it's "vile slurry time!"

Anne, we did the vile slurry thing with 2 of ours. (1 pulled through, 1 did not.) It's quite the bonding experience. And allows me to tell over-smug parents, "I do too know what a 2 a.m. feeding is like."
