Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm pretty sure a wallet and a knife would be too many possessions for Real Jack Reacher.

No shit. I mean, not to be like "OMG, you really need to calm down!" or anything--more "OMG, you deserve a chance to freakin' relax"

Yeah, that.

Loki is a big furry ball of therapy. He's making big eyes and puring at me as I rearrange his fatexcess skin. He's a big ball of cuddle. I wish I could ship his soothings to Consuela.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

But I think I can make a compelling argument that Brad Pitt should have played most of the roles in that movie. Well, either it is actually compelling or Jilli and Plei wanted me to shut up.

No, it is an actually compelling argument! One that we have developed shorthand for!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

suela, vent away. When life feels one note, then venting makes perfect sense. It's not boring, at least to me. I just wish it were easier for you.

No opinion on the new TC movie, but knee jerk negative reaction to Cruise as an actor.

I went to the worst PD ever, which brings out the rude in me. It was sort of ugly... actually beyond ugly. The woman was both pedantic and ill-informed. Then in the stack of "articles" on giftedness she passed out, she included one from about.com. Really? This woman has her doctorate from where exactly?

(She also claimed that baby boomers weren't cheaters, in the grand scheme. And while I agree that cheating, like technology, is more pervasive now, I have to question that statement.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

and if you guess me, you lose

No, seriously. That's where it is. Who are you to argue? I mean, other than you? Look again. I'm sure of it.

To anyone who has an Android phone: be careful, it will call strangers. Seriously--tell it to call Brian Rich and it will totally look a number up on the internet and call it, and I DIDN'T SAY BRIAN RICH. I DON'T KNOW ANYONE CALLED BRIAN RICH. Voicemail picked up before I worked out what had happened.

Possibly where mine is. Which is not my wallet. Though I suspect the answer MAY be "yesterday's pants"
