There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds lovely, Strix.

Coffee popsicles made with cold-filtered coffee concentrate taste better than those made with instant. In case anyone was unsure about that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister is a massive Reedus fan, I like him a bit but not for the same reasons.

His character on the Walking Dead is *just* underwritten enough that he's pretty much impeccable. I don't want him to get any more major a storyline, because I think they would ruin something about him.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I've seen Walking Dead but never really thought about Norman Reedus one way or another, until those last three pics ita ! linked to. Holy sheeit! Now those were hot!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

VERY nice pix, ita.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

LOVE that last pic! ROWR!

Compassionately intolerant

Happy Mother's Day to all those called by that name, as well as all of my fellow Buffistas male and female that I know to mother and nurture on a regular basis.

Oh, Laura. You said it better than I ever could.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So, via Twitter, I found three guys I lost touch with 20 years ago, who used to be in the same loose collective of writers as me. So of course we all followed each other. Oh, how great to hear from you again!

And now I remember. One guy is just flat boring, one guy is relentlessly cheerful and refuses to "allow anything negative" in his life including his friends' hard times, and one guy stirs up shit just to watch the water boil. I almost got into a heated discussion with him last night, but I realized that he was saying things he probably didn't even mean just to poke at me, and disengaged before he could make me mad.

Lesson learned. The people who aren't in my life anymore are gone because I didn't want to continue our association. I should stop whinging about how I let so many friendships slide, and try to remember WHY I let them slide. I just wish I could unfollow these guys, but that would be rude, and weird after just getting back in touch.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

No, you totally can just unfollow them. Put in your life what you want in your life.

Well, I managed to waste my morning. Ate some empanadas, coffee, listened to the radio. Oh! My car started with nary a hesitation. Twice! I think I'll give Loki some outside time and then walk over the catsit.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd at least unfollow the purposefully button-pushing one. Life's too short, you know?
