Because books.

In this part of PA, too, Friends Schools are really thick on the ground. The one here dates back ... to the early 1800s, I think? Something like that.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good lord, Suzi, that is a lot of work! Don't wear yourself out too much if you can help it.

What's the school, Amy, if you don't mind? I know have a lot of friends who went/boarded up there.

West Chester Friends, pre-K through 5. Around here, though, not many Friends schools extend past grade 5 or 6, though, which is a shame. I met a woman in college whose daughter had just graduated from a Friends high school in Brooklyn, with a class of 9 or something. She loved it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I don't suppose you're referring to S____n, in Allentown/Bethlehem, PA?

M goes there. (Redacted; not the same school.) It's a wonderful school. Pricey, beyond our and the ex's fam's range (even though they chose it, wanted us to pay half (HAHAHAHAHA - NO) but it's a lovely environment. I don't even know what Ex will do in two years when their youngest starts school. They are already crazy in arrears.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

There's a reason many presidential kids end up at Friends' schools in DC.

Are there others besides Sidwell? (I was always a little bitter about them because my alma-mater was the Clintons and Obama's second-choice school.)

Don't wear yourself out too much if you can help it.

I made myself take a karate break today. Told my sensei I needed to hit things, so we spent the time doing pad work. I should have put on my pad gloves cause now I have a couple of ugly knuckles. I wish I could get away with taking a picture and sending that with my "I need your info NOW" e-mails.

That would be so awesome.

Actually only one knuckle still looks angry. And it is a sign I wasn't hitting the pads right. Should have been hitting with the back of my hand, not with the knuckles. Backfists are WONDERFUL for getting out your frustrations, as long as you hit right.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

New court date is for the 21st. So, anyone with legal issues experience, how much should I be in contact with my attorney? I was told by an assistant to show up with my insurance card, and that was all. I'm more than happy to just show up with no further contact, but after this last fail, I don't want to take chances, but I don't want to badger the guy unnecessarily.
