We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm trying to get through to the psych to see if I can get a PRN order for more benzos.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think there's a lot less actor pursuing the role than you might otherwise guess. It's not an efficient use of time, unless the actor in question has an active production company of their own, and even then I think we still overestimate. There's a reporting bias, I guess, because "I wanted to play Jesus for years, and I was shopping this script to everyone" makes a good soundbite, and we just don't hear the stories of the hundreds of popular movies where someone's people called their people or they just auditioned amongst others.

also because I can't stand him so I always assume the worst

And there is certainly that.

The writer's quote is impossible to parse accurately with just that information. Some writers would bitch, some would not, and there's no way I can tell anything from this distance other than "publicly on board" so that's why it's all I said.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay Nora!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I imagine Cruise just got cast as Reacher, so I don't blame him -- I blame everyone else.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Congrats on the Great Unburdening, Nora!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

What does "end of day" mean to UPS? I've got things to do, yo.

OMG, I totally fell down the google hole with that catsnotcancer Munchausen-by-internet story.

I totally got sucked into the Warrior Eli Hoax site. I wish I could get myself to dedicate a fraction of the energy these people put toward hoaxes into my online portfolio.

WE ARE NO LONGER HOMEOWNERS!

Congrats!

I hope after a few days she's going to settle in, for everyone's sake.

Consuela I can only echo this. I'm sorry this is so hard.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

UPS might deliver until 7, is my understanding.

More drugs are probably a good idea, Consuela. Ugh. Stay strong!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

After he was laid off at 40, Lee Child deliberately set out to create lucrative thrillers. I doubt he would say much about the casting if the deal was right. As I recall, he's said he thinks of Jack Reacher as his height, which is 6'5".

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Reacher is definitely 6'5", 250.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

His quote was something about metaphorical size, which clearly means he likes the heft of Cruise's cock.

Consuela, I hope this gives the professionals a chance to shine...or at least a chance to work out a strategy for next time.

Good lord--some days lunch's garlic really sticks with you. I apologise to the world.

And this dress, which looked like an okay idea on the web page, is clearly something my grandmother would think is too fuddy duddy.

Okay, today has clear targets, things that need to be crossed off the list, and I will cross them, damnit. I WILL CROSS.
