OK, I ate it. Not quite enough for a full dinner, but still pretty tasty. Now to figure out what else to have. I guess these cats need to eat too.

A mini strawberry rhubarb pie for dinner is ok, right?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Not only is it okay, it qualifies as healthy! Fruit and vegetables!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Several people I went to high school with are posting photos of their children dressed for prom. How are we old enough for that?

One of my closest high school buddies posted about his oldest son graduating college a few months ago. I believe I made some comment about crumbling into dust and blowing away like at the end of all those Dracula movies.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And yet they are not extinct...

There are some fierce birds but doves and, apparently, terns make me wonder how they successfully evolved from dinosaurs.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The doves in my yard wander around looking like they would be easy pickings but somehow manage not to get caught and eaten by the cats. They must have some skills. Nest building not really being one of them, but you just need some of the next generation to survive, after all.

Still Tasty says 7-10 days. I personally would go ahead and eat it as long as it isn't visibly growing something (other than the bugs that make it yogurt, of course). And you can always pop it in the freezer, good for a couple more months in there - thaw in the fridge, stir it up, good as new.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Maybe doves just don't taste good.

The doves I names Ernst and Gert who hang out on my deck time to time and shit all over it are beyond stupid. They didn't run from my cats, I had to chase them off. OTOH, they still come to hang out. I'm weirdly protective of them.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yogurt is a method of preservation in and of its self, after all.
