Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But Bruno Mars doesn't sing Fuck You, right? None of the other titles ring a bell--if they've advertised soap or appeared on Grey's, I might know them from there, but not as songs in their own rights, with like names and shit.

Speaking of Grey's--I wonder if Shonda's love of JDM contributed any to casting his SO on it last episode?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But Bruno Mars doesn't sing Fuck You, right?

Oooh, no. He didn't. He wrote it. I heard him singing a snippet on Graham Norton. And mostly I know the song from Patrick Stump covered it in a medley. So I think of it as Bruno Mars' but not according to radio, it's not. Also, it's Billionaire, not Millionaire. I am so '80s...

He did actually put out Locked Out of Heaven (the, hey, that totally sounds like The Police song). Maybe there was an awards show where he did this song and Sting came out?

Apparently I know almost nothing about Bruno Mars when it comes to his radio play. I do know he's ridiculously talented. But I can't always say why without a bit of Googling.

eta: Okay, ridic talented and also playing a radio show in LA next weekend with a ton of bands including one I crazy love. Hmmm.

Our wings are not tired

Well, I'm not replacing it with nothing--what's a better baseline?

For mass market car comparisons, I'd go the big sellers in the US, those are the Honda Accord Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion, and Toyota Corolla, all of which do keyless entry and keyless start.

VW has been trying to grab market share in the US and has been on the uptick, but are still much lower in volume that the other manufacturers. The Jetta is also an odd car because while it is the VW volume leader in the US is far behind the Golf in most other markets.

As does the Jetta. What is the criteria that gives them a pass?

There should be a way to set a baseline apart from highest sales. I mean, McDonald's has probably the highest fast food sales but I am going to personally baseline against In N Out.

And, even with my weird analogy, I still think that what the baseline offers should be most of the things that I think are awesome. I even say this driving a car that is a wolf in Civic clothing. I just can't afford the bail money and insurance costs of unsubtle vroom. Plus I like feeling stealth. Probably my car does not pass my own tests. Actually, I am pretty sure it won't.

ita !, do you know this one? I am listening to more Bruno Mars tonight than I have in my entire life. I'm becoming a fan.

Grenade is familiar! There was a cute kid on Ellen who performed it. She's good with the adorable, but this was epic. D'aww.

And this performance (Bruno Mars, Ziggy Marley, Sting and Rihanna) this at the Grammy's is what I know of his visible career.

I am clearly more aware of his career through other people but he is really quite talented. I would give him monies.

I am afraid to Google. My guts might not be able to take it.

Stupid talent. I am happy playing with YouTube because he makes me feel too many feelings.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

According to Wikipedia, Bruno Mars' best-sellng singles are "Just The Way You Are" (12.5 million) and "Grenade" (10.2 million). They both went number one in multiple countries.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I've never really touched Sartre besides what was brought up in high school lit and I just feel like I don't care because there probably aren't any dragons and I'm an adult now and I just want to read stuff with dragons.

EXACTLY. Except replace "dragons" with "vampires".

Unlike the white eyeliner in Avengers and IM3. (To be fair, Chris Evans had it in Avengers, too.

Heh. But it's such a good cosmetic trick.
