Oh, I'm sure it's lovely outside! But windows open + fourth floor = brrrrr.
(I can't complain too much, the great ventilation we have is a godsend in the summer.)

I want to experiment with iced tea popsicles now.
Me too. "Earl Grey. Frozen." has a nice ring to it.
The main things to keep in mind seems to be that the coldness makes flavors less intense, so start with extra strong, and sugar is good for the texture. Speaking from my vast experience of one successful coffee popsicle.

Oh, always. You'd have to steep the tea extra long before freezing. I wonder if Splenda will freeze okay, though?

We're on the third floor here, and the same is true when we're out on the porch -- if the wind's blowing, it's like ten degrees cooler out there than on the ground.
We're seeing the Brandywine Ballet do The Wizard of Oz this afternoon -- two of Sara's classmates are in it, as members of the Lollipop Guild. Apparently, the taller girls had to take boys' roles.
I hear there's an actual dog playing Toto, too, which should be interesting.

The guide I got with the popsicle maker say it sticks to the mold and to combine artificial sweeteners with sugar or agave or something to prevent that, but I haven't experimented yet to see how that plays out.
I have some car questions. This [link] says that keys and steering wheels are dying technology. I didn't even know that CD players were on the way out (although I have little use for one). But keys and steering wheels? I've only driven one keyless car, and never even heard of one without a steering wheel.
Oh, and the reason I was on that site in the first place--if you ate at the Nordstrom Cafe at the Stonestown Galleria in late April, you might have been exposed to typhoid fever: [link]
Every now and again something mundane like a Tropicana ad will make me wonder what difference it might have been to my life if I'd gone to a school with a strong dance program, and if I'd glommed onto them instead of actors/comedians.
It's open window season here.
I woke up way too early, which then meant I woke up late, but still met up with the neighbors at themarket. Then got persuaded for coffee on the porch and now I'm all behind. Oh well, it's perfect out.
I am a dummy. I was wondering where my tax refunds were, as I elected for direct deposit. I had been checking my accounts for a few weeks.
Of course, I have another checking account and didn't think to check there! My $1800 worth of refunds have been sitting in that account since the beginning of April.
My Focus doesn't have a real key nor did my BMW.
Yay for money finding!
I actually turned the heat back on in the house today. I'm a Popsicle.
Especially since I have BILLS to pay. Damn. Living is expensive.
