The only stuff I knew about the Jack Reacher movies before today is that Tom Cruise was in it and I don't like Tom Cruise as an actor and didn't want to see it.
Prior to today I assumed based on the fact he's still a pretty big star he wanted to do this and got to do the movie.
Today, I looked on IMDB and saw he is listed as one of the producers and figured that gave even more weight to my thought that Cruise got the part because he wanted it even though he's not physically built like the character.
Based on stuff I've read online and in Movies here there seems to be an assumption by other people that Affleck was cast as the lead character instead of a Latino actor because he was the producer on the movie and wanted the role.
Those are assumptions and since I don't care about the movie enough to looking for information about it, then my assumptions are probably wrong.
ita,
aren't there downsides to repeated botox (not medically necessary)? This isn't like changing eye shadow. I thought there were medical studies that indicated negative long-term effects.
Ben Affleck was given the script after Clooney had had the project for
five
years. At worst I've got to at least assume George saw him casting himself coming.
The press I've read on Reacher says that Tom was offered the role. It's not that much press--in fact, when the movie was mentioned here was the first I'd heard of it. And the first article I found in reading up said he'd been offered the role.
I'm not sure why it's reflexive to decide it's the other way around.

When I researched repeated botox before I got it, I didn't find a significant risk when administered safely. The amount of botox I got the first time was definitely enough to eliminate a decent amount of tells (which is one reason I hated it), and what I was told was that it's how it's administered that makes the difference.
I don't know of any difference involved with medical necessity if they're administered the same way.
OMG, I totally fell down the google hole with that catsnotcancer Munchausen-by-internet story. Weird that they used the real blog name and fake first names.

Did you stalk people and out them to their bosses? I feel like that should be done, if not already accomplished.

Did you stalk people and out them to their bosses?
I did not! (But I would.) (But I think most of the major players in this are/were unemployed for various reasons.)
I said I made an assumption and I was wrong. I don't know what else to say about it.
