Yeah, I went to the ER for sleep meds. SERIOUSLY? I've left messages on all his numbers, emailed him, left message with the nurse advocate, and he seriously emails me back and tells me to sleep well? I'm trying not to cry, on the offchance someone calls me back so I can talk like a grownup, but it's really borderline.

Kick ass, Consuela!
Dana, can your mom get an Open MRI? (I don't actually know what that is, or when it's appropriate, just that my dad had one after he FREAKED OUT trying to get the other kind.)
Also, ita, I'm pretty sure my current prescription for everything would help you as much as that doctor. It is to sing "Titanium" a lot. Either in your head or out loud, depending on the setting.
Oh ita, I'm sorry the doctor is making this so hard.
I mistook that for Jonestown. As if there wasn't already enough awfulness there.
ita, I have no words, just all the best possible thoughts for some relief for you.
Shir, thank you so much for letting us know.
Nilly, I'm so sorry for your loss. All possible thoughts of comfort and strength to you and your family. May good memories comfort you.
Best possible luck, consuela.
And woohoo! msbelle. Do we get a picture of the happy dress?
She's had an open MRI before, so I'm assuming it's not an option because of either what they need to do, or the short notice.
Oh, good thoughts for your mom, Dana. Dealing with that on top of an illness or injury is just no fair.
I have too much WTF to be able to make meaningful sentences out of it, ita. WTF.
It's impressive that breaking things has any palliative effect at all, but I guess I should be glad it distracted me for as long as it did.
And I have plenty of glasses, and know where to get more.
