Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We give ours this stuff: [link] The vet recommended it and they love it.

For dogs, better quality food results in less volume coming out the other end, which certainly makes a difference in big dogs.

I use Professional, which is the in-house brand at Petsmart. It's lower fat than a lot of brands, which keeps TNG from getting diarrhea.

One thing to remember is to gradually switch him over, not to change foods all at once, because too much change at once may give him stomach problems.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I thought dogs weren't supposed to eat poultry bones?

I think cooked v. uncooked makes the difference.

I have finally found someone to take over the overhead reports I've been handling for almost 5 years. So far the people I do the reports for have been responding positively to my choice of replacement. Said gal is thrilled to take on this new responsibility. She gets to learn new stuff and have her name in front of some big wigs in the firm. I'm kinda annoyed that it fell on me to find my own replacement for this work so I'm very happy that no one has balked at my choice.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Argh. I've gotten to the point in my day when all I can do is wait for my fancy meeting to start. 10-20 minutes. Deep breaths.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And of course, as soon as I posted that, I tried for the 3rd time tricking him into thinking the blue was treats and this time it worked. Yay no need to buy other stuff.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I'm stuck on the couch watching reruns of Tabatha's Salon Takeover. I need to get up and shower, but there's always another episode.

My day is not off to a fantastic start. I tweaked my lower back yesterday, and as a result I couldn't run this morning. I did walk, but it's terribly stiff, even after two naproxen.

My dad called twice about my mother's doctor's appointment today, which I am sending the caregiver to because I'm already taking 8 hours of personal time this week for Mom's other appointment and my interview.

And I took my car to the garage to get the brake lights fixed but they'd moved! I was embarrassed because they moved two years ago and I never noticed. And they're moving again, even farther away, so I will have to get a new mechanic.

Bah.
