So, I'm going into the office tomorrow. With my purple highlights. Wonder if anyone will say anything? Did I mentioned I'm going in cause our group has a meeting with the company president?

I think they are called shrunken blazers. Ooh, I bought a belt like that recently, after you mentioned the style before, expressly so I can keep wearing it as I lose weight. I am having a lot of trouble with my waistbands and belts lately, even from one day to the next I can't predict how anything will fit. I don't think I am actually changing shape that fast, I don't know what's going on.

Still half an hour of work and nothing to do...

That is a little weird about the Google calendar invite, -t, but still -- interview!

I'm so tired. Work was so crazy today, I actually never even opened Twitter or Tumblr. And now I'm just too beat.

Right? My last interview with this company someone asked me that morning if I could meet with the interviewer that day (obviously, I did not get that job, still temping) so I guess this is an improvement. And I'm betting the people who decided to set up the interview were in meetings all day, because that's where they often are lately.

OK, in honor of doing so very little at work, I am going to mow my lawn. Also, my neighbors mowed their lawn and now mine looks much worse in comparison. Here I go.

I was going to vacuum the back porch, but I started vacuuming the rooms on the way to it, and never made it that far. Definitely late spring cleaning here.

I think so, Jesse. I'm not getting my hopes up, because the one position I know is available is primarily responsible for Latin American markets, so bilingual Spanish-English speaker preferred, which I am not, but the interview is with people I've worked with and who have been happy with my work, so who knows?

Of course, if they do want to hire me permanently to start right away, that might put me in a bind with my refi, and I just nailed down a vacation with my mother and sister and niece in June, and there's still Schrodinger's Financial Institutions Examiner results out there for 2-5 weeks. But I'll worry about all that if it comes up.

Lawn is mowed! Before I came inside I thought I'd edge also (OMG it needs it so bad) but now I think I will have a beer. I can edge tomorrow. Evening yardwork in the front yard is actually not terrible, even if it is still 90ish.

The seasonal beer that has been in my fridge for maybe a year is, in fact, a summer brew. Nice.
