Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My mother was surprised to be reminded of this fact, but doing the laundry was my chore starting at about age 10. For what that's worth.

Our wings are not tired.

My boys started doing laundry as soon as they were tall enough to reach the controls. And they were tall kids!

I don't mind doing my laundry at all, but I had no desire to dig under beds for dirty boy socks.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Jesse - I have been taking Gaba for relaxation. But if I really need to sleep, I'd take a sominex or whatever.

Oh yeah, antihistamines don't help me at all. I don't fall asleep any faster AND am groggy the next day! Worst of both worlds.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Also, if you want to continue to mist up over the Jason Collins story, here are other players' reactions: [link]

Aw, I like the ones with the golf and jump shot trash talk. Those seem the most supportive to me.

I saw an interesting haiku today:

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone on the NY Mag article mentioned Namath was gay because he'd used gay code, and that spurred this:

I heard from my Navajo friends that the tribe was now doing gay code to make it much harder to crack.

Okay, I think I have to go home. I at least have to not be at my desk.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cool!

Yeah, Magic Johnson's sounded a bit like dry toast compared to some of the others.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, Magic Johnson's sounded a bit like dry toast compared to some of the others.

I suspect it's just been there/done that boredom on Johnson's part considering his support of his nova-flamboyant son.

Yeah, but in fairness, if he isn't buddies with Collins his comments aren't likely to have much of a personal touch. Especially with Twitter brevity.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, my, I just got a google calendar invite to an interview on Thursday at the company I'm temping at. That seems like kind of an odd way to find out about it, but I'll take it.
