Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Happy 8 to Lillian's due-date twin!

Smart Cars are cute, but Toyota makes a car that is bigger yet cheaper and with better gas mileage.

The iQ? Which also fits more people?

I hate Smart Cars. They're small, yes, but the gas versions have ridiculously poor fuel economy for their size, considering my Mini is managing to average 34 with me doing a lot of city driving.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

No, the Yaris.

eta: It seems the Smart Car does get better mileage than the Yaris. I heard the opposite, but maybe things have changed in the last few years.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wait, Lillian is also 8? WHAT.

I finally finished my self-eval, and hilariously, the "language check" suggested I not use the word short, due to "negative connotations."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know that Smart Car ads stress the durability of their cages, but FUCK. The one SC wreck I've seen just looked...so vulnerable. They make me nervous, despite facts and numbers.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

In a restaurant (of course) and there is Spanish Omelette on the menu that is described as having "Spanish sauce."

???

Order it! I want to know what this Spanish sauce that you speak of is. And how it differs from French sauce.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Wait, Lillian is also 8? WHAT.

We have completely thrown Jesse for a loop.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I need to get a new car, but the thought of going through the process of actually shopping for one keeps stopping me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Does anyone make an electric or hybrid convertible? I'd like one for my next car (which I am not in the market for and don't plan to be for quite some time).

I was wondering the same thing. I don't think there are any hybrid convertibles, but soon there'll be an electric Smart Car convertible available.
