Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I slothed my way out of yoga this morning (I really need to sign up the night before -- then I force myself to go), but I just did about a half-hour of working out with On Demand! That is way better than nothing, and I'll go for a long walk in a bit. Unprecedented!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The Zmayhemi are awake and have eaten oatmeal on a grey November morning.

Hmmm, I realize that when I was younger I wrote "gray" and now I seem to prefer "grey."

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Steph, is the National Coalition of Sexual Freedom an established group within the section of the kink community of which you're a part?

It is, and they are a really good advocacy organization.

Always Anti-fascist!

Grenier plays five instruments or something and seems to know a lot about recycling(Which might just means he knows smart people to get his talking points from, but still...) He is pretty much of a spacy hippie/ster, however. Probably bought all his bros Casteneda after he read him.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

More drama today. But yhank fuck my brothers came, she really responds better to them.

Slept crappy. Worst "vacation" ever.

Punishingly Intricate

'suela, hope you are able to take a real, restful vacation sometime very soon.

And, yeah, that's great your brothers are there to help deal. You've done enough dealing for several lifetimes of daughter-hood.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Shit, I'm sorry Consuela. But it never seemed likely that she was going to go easy. But this will be better for her and she will make the adjustment.

I'm just sorry it's been such a rough haul for you and your family.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sorry the transition is being so rough, Suela.

information libertarian

Suela, I hope posting here helps you, and I wanted to tell you that some of us are taking copious notes, because right now our mother is 63 and in excellent health, but boy does she have the inherent personality potential to be just as much trouble in 20-30 years.

So, we got a piano last year and nobody is any good at playing it yet. My goal is to teach myself a Christmas carol a week until Christmas, notes and chords (I have a book and am quite good at picking things out by ear, although I need chord notes). I can almost do Jingle Bells. Suggestions for other easy ones? Silent Night has got to be simple, right? Good King Wenceslas?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Frosty the Snowman is easy.

12 Days of Christmas is also easy - and repetitive.

White Christmas is pretty easy if you have the basic music book
