Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm so sorry, sara.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm so sorry, sara. She had a great long life with you, but I know it's never long enough. It's always sudden.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I'm very sorry, Sara.

OMG, packer, finish and leave! Finish and leave! I just want to go to sleep! Don't want to have dinner with husband's ex-coworker tonight! Stressed about movers tomorrow! Make it all be over!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm sorry, sara.

This is an hourly employee who has missed over a week of work because of car issues? Does that seem nuts?

It certainly seems nuts to me. There are things that I would be totally understanding about someone requiring an extended amount of time off to deal with (personal or family medical issues, death of a loved one, etc.), but not being able to arrange alternate transportation after multiple days is not among them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sara, I'm so sorry. You were the best Devi-owner she could have had, though. She had a great time. You know that.

Right. Overwhelmed with work, which means it's time to run home for a doctor's appointment. I so hoped I would be able to change first...

I'm sorry, sara.

Thanks. She was a tiny thing who took up a lot of space.

Now I'm possessed of an urge to consolidate litter boxes and where the food lives and jesusfuck I have yet another 3/4 full bag of prescription catfood (and I bought the small bag with this in mind!) and move the bed and vacuum under it and...really, I need to just sit. And call my parents to let them know.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, just sit. You can deal with all the dealing stuff later. Just be, for a bit.
