I've seen honest faces before. They usually come attached to liars.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Warning for DC-istas: If you don't absolutely have to be in Montgomery Village in MD, don't go there. Apparently the suspects have relatives there. There is no reason to believe that the relatives were involved in any way, but there appears to be a lot of activity as authorities (and media) talk to the relatives and neighbors of the relatives.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I went to bed at midnight and had an early doctor's appointment so I am just now catching up with the news. I'm really glad we don't have cable at the moment.

Be safe Boston.

msbelle, I am so happy to hear about the job!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yikes, Boston!

Stay safe, everyone. I'm so sad that there have been more deaths in capturing these guys.

OK, not going to the office today: I'm going to take the dog running in the woods.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Actually, most DCistas may want to just stay home anyway. Metro (bless their hearts ... assuming they have them) is doing track work on every single line. AND we have the IMF/World Bank meeting, so a big area of town near Foggy Bottom will be closed off.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

They're interviewing the suspects' uncle. It's pretty uncomfortable.

Our wings are not tired.

My coworker in the other room is listening to what sounds like a police scanner feed. Actually very annoying. At this point I'll get my news here. I've spent enough time on it this morning already.

Holds all the souls in and from the Boston area in my heart. As well as all the others that are freaked out. Sometimes there are events that touch us profoundly even with no personal connection.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh, may I mention how glad I am at msbelle's job news? That is a day-brightener for sure.

Currently out on the patio, only checking news occasionally thru youse guys.

The uncle is basically being put in the position of defending himself, his family, Islam, and Chechnya.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, may I mention how glad I am at msbelle's job news? That is a day-brightener for sure.

Totally. I forgot to congratulate her, so... congrats, msbelle!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The uncle is basically being put in the position of defending himself, his family, Islam, and Chechnya.

Jesus. I always hate immediate interviews with regular people directly connected to the news.
