Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I love NPR for many things. Breaking news is not one of them.
I think they are doing a pretty good job on NPR!
I'm listening to local news, which is getting super-local with where the cops are.
Yeah, hell of a wakeup here. The MBTA is totally shut down. No order to stay inside here in Somerville.
My roommate probably knows the MIT officer -- it's a small force so she's interacted whenever there's a library problem that they have to come out for.
Also, my mother just pointed out that we went by MIT at about 10:30 last night. So that explains the emergency vehicles we kept pulling over for.
Please, please, stay safe, people.
USA Today is reporting that the at-large suspect is 19, graduated from a Cambridge high school in 2011, and the younger brother of the suspect who died. Nineteen. A high school wrestler. Just a stupid, childish, stupid kid, who murdered another kid and two other people and blew limbs off another hundred or so. Fucking hell.
A Russian news agency posted a copy of the suspect's page from VKontakte, a Russian Facebook clone: [link]
Ringe & Latin is a High School?
Yikes, Jesse!
Ok, so whenever I've tuned in (between shower and hairdryer) Dina Temple-Raston(?) IS REALLY freaking shoving the al-quaeda thing. It is rather unseemly and speculative and UHG.
