I don't give half a hump if you're innocent or not. So where does that put you?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Breaking news: Nora is 100% unadulterated awesome.

Corroborated.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

My first reaction to Steph and David was, "well, duh" ... but I'm trying to be nicer. Not msbelle's level of nice, 'cause she's the nicest, but nicer than "raging bitch."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bad PowerPoint. The worst, actually.

I am straight up not lying when I say I thought I recognised a couple of those. Before we separated, I am pretty sure I saw the peers of the IT Modernization Roadmap and the Strategy Map For The US Army/Army/Army Scorecard (how is that a title?).

But if I had seen the Design For Social Change I think I would have LLOLed (first L for literally, honestly, seriously, no joke).

So the team I just got pulled off of? The guy they replaced me with didn't get back from lunch until 1:40. Kickoff meeting was 1:00. Not his fault--he didn't get the email in time. But it makes sense to pull me off, because I'm already on a parallel team for "executing on" other findings from the same study.

Everyone is running from meeting to meeting--this same guy had to attend a meeting in my place this morning because of my first sitdown with the CIO. And all the day since then has been putting together the slide deck for the 3:00 regroup. This is my ten (five?) minute break that I take at my desk, as opposed to the one I took waiting in line for lunch (half of which is still on my desk).

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So Legoland is doing a themed Lego hotel. Do you think adults without kids can stay in it?

Because I think this just made my week.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Legoland is so awesome and the new hotel looks to be cool as well. I think DW and I might like Legoland even more than Shane does (and that's a lot!).

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I have an appointment with an attorney. The receptionist said that if we sign a contract, the bill will be between 800 and 1500. Holy shit, guys. I got myself into this mess because my autopay discontinued due to my lack of money in the bank. I guess I'll find out if they'll take payment installments, otherwise I'm going to have to shatter my parent's image that I'm a good doobie. Apparently no insurance in NJ is worse than a DUI, which makes absolutely no sense to me.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Juliebird, man. I'm sorry to hear that. WOW.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ugh, so Dylan found out about the bombings in Boston from a friend at school (who saw it in her parents' newspaper). Perils of having a kid who can read, but not a fun conversation.
