Thrive to spite them

I haven't done much today. The city is replacing a water main and if they told my landlady in advance she didn't tell me. I woke up after the work started and the water has been off all day.

I was planning to do laundry today but that's not happening.

Would someone please shop my closet to find something for me to wear to my cousin's wedding on Saturday? I'm failing at planning! And will have no time to shop between now and then. The high is only supposed to be in the high 50s so that means I won't have to get a pedicure anyway. But what outfit? What shoes?

askye, that's better than when the city shut off my building's water, six hours before they announced they would, while I was doing my laundry.

Sure! Find me the teleporter and I'll be right there. That sounds way more fun than reviewing error messages.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I just found out a good friend is moving back to town. Yay! Now I get to do some house-hunting for her. I hope she moves to our neighborhood.

I don't have much else to report at the moment. Oh, I got the first volume of Saga from the library a few days ago and started it last night, and I'm loving it. Want to go home and read more!

I'm on the fence about Saga. I read the first volume, and I'm already annoyed by Vaughn's tendency to introduce really compelling characters, then immediately kill them off .

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

they thought you already knew?

It turns out that at least one of them wasn't sure how public the news is. I don't see how she thinks she's that much closer than I am! It's not like he told them over drinks! His last day is Friday. Jesus, people.

I've been a mess today. My brain won't shut up, I have work to do, the things that normally calm me aren't working, and I've spent the last 2 hours crying. I'm vibrating on the edge of a full blown anxiety attack but have too much to do to take more lorazapam.

Oh my god, I'd love this task swap right now!
