My entire family has chimed in to say my head was bigger at age 13, but most hysterically my father mas minutely explained that's not how I wore my hair. Of all the people to dwell on that detail...but he's right. I wasn't one for mirrors and I wasn't combing my own hair, but when I think of lying down, he's right about there the plaits were. Am totally amused.
I just watched yet another movie where someone takes the place of another person totally because they look identical. Although we most often are cheering the usurper on (this was Source Code) doesn't that premise say very little for individuality? Never mind how hard it will be to know what my routine is, and passwords are, etc, is the premise that you just get entirely new friends? I think it would be hysterical to see what pieces of my life my doppleganger tried to reconstitute.
I had to look up fartlek.
I imagine it as something like this, only, you know - other end. [link]
Lee, Fella is simply adorable. Those eyes!
Also, Liese, the new hair is cool. Complicated looking, so I hope it's not complicated upkeep.
sara, maybe it's time to either stop worrying about the time or cross train and then go back and see how that works on times? Maybe it's a slump of sorts.
I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow, esp because I have a parent meeting and a meeting through lunch. Blargh.
Thanks, Ginger. I have no idea what they're doing that knocks me off my URL from some IPs and not others, but whatever it is, it's really annoying. Some emails go out, some are throwing errors, but apparently if I wanted to use work resources to do shit, I'd be fine.
way too much shouting going on outside. Argh.
Taxes filed! Now I can return to my regularly scheduled life.
Ugh. Did 5K this morning--I think because it was actually at 11, and not like, 8, is why I was able to beat my previous personal best (yay!). Then there was the food tent, which was delicious. But having mimosas rather than lots of water (though I drank a whole bottle!) gave me a wicked headache. So I spent a couple hours napping, and then had to get up and go to the ballet! We went to a little lecture beforehand, which was cool, and then Swan Lake. Great seats, too--7th row, just a bit to the side. Yay.
But now I am still a bit headachey, and tired, and my laundry is going, because I didn't do it earlier when I was supposed to, because napping. And I need to pack for my trip. And I wanted to hang out with the girl, but am so not up for going over to where she is running karaoke. Sigh. Can't I just get an extra weekend day, please?
You are a busy busy lady, meara
