Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I don't know if I need to call Time Warner or Jaguar PC.

For what it's worth, I lost my TW a few minutes ago. (I just reset my air thingy).

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Time Warner blows nasty, sweaty balls. Possibly pox-ridden. I cannot believe how often I have to reboot my cable box, how badly my dvr works and how often channels just randomly don't work. Their app to watch some channels live on my phone if I am on my own network is pretty awesome but I am just twitching to cancel them otherwise. Oddly, my internet hasn't had any issues so far as I can remember. Not that any of that is applicable to ita !, I just wanted to bitch.

but who she is today is an anal neat/control-freak.

Your private business is just that then, private.

I dislike having my business aired in public.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I like to think that she could/would be doing things like succumbing to fads and liking stuff her parents can not understand, things that are speaking to the freedom from consequences and carefree day to day lives. Justin Bieber posters over her wall would be great.

This just made me tear up the tiniest bit, so, yeah, I'm with you.

Hey, can I crowdsource some error checking? Can folks here hit my email domain website? And what IP address comes up when you ping it? What about [link] ?

What do you mean by "ping it"? I went to both websites and they both loaded fine for me (Windows 8 [I think?], Firefox).

Liese, I LOVE your hair!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Julie, why do you need to tell your boss what you're doing on your day off? If you were going to the museum, would you tell them? To get a boob job? Sleep? You can do anything you want, can't you? Or are you asking for a favour? If you have the time off, I don't see how it's anyone's b

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I cannot believe how often I have to reboot my cable box

Mine fucking resets itself and turns itself off. I want to kill it.

"Ping" is literally ping--if you don't know the command, that's cool.

TWC gave me some ridiculous runaround bullshit that made it two phone calls instead of one, but it looks like it's not them--from some angles I can hit my site, from others, no.

So now I'm on hold with my website provider.

It's kind of weird--I drew from memory a scene that was supposed to take place in my English high school (no one knows the college answer? I will go to unAmerican), and I realise I have a really specific image of "school chair" that I'm pretty sure we didn't even have in most of the school. Am I imagining a university chair? I do not know. But it came with specific (not sure if *right*, but specific visuals--in blue or orange, stackable, this. That's not a chair I made up, right? I can almost feel the rubbled top surface (the underside and back are smooth).

think I'm going to beat my sister's WWF FOF two out of three! I still don't know any of the words she plays, but the tiles have been kind--if she played less cagily there wouldn't be room for a seven letter word this late in the game. But the top half of the board was almost empty. ::crosses fingers::

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am familiar with that chair. I think of them as going in the cafeteria, or multipurpose room, and getting stacked in the corners a lot. Yeah, blue or orange.

I associate it with Elementary more than higher grades, I'm not sure why.

Amy - Apr 14, 2013 4:48:26 pm PDT #18687 of 30001
Because books.

Those chairs were a little more junior high or middle school in my experience, but I know exactly what kind of chair you mean.

I know why, I think! In high school we had chairs with the desk top attached on one side in pretty much every class but science labs.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

ita !, just for the sake of coming clean and not having to come up with lies, and also so that I don't have to drag my other coworker more into my mess, as she's the only other one who knows the truth.

I actually had to not share my experience at the garage on Saturday getting my flat fixed because, hey, wouldn't I have had that pre-existing condition taken care of when my car "broke down"?

I'm also loathe to admit to my vehicular transgressions because I they let me use the company vehicle for three days while I sorted out my shit, and I don't know that they would have let me if the truth was known.

So, I don't know. I don't know the value of coming clean a week after the lie.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you have something pressing you to tell all to her, I guess. But it wouldn't even occur to me to tell my boss what I'm going to do when I'm not there. Weddings, funerals, hospitalisations, sitting in Colin's pool for the day--none of their business if I'm not on the clock. I do say "doctor's appointment" but that's when I'm not asking for time off, just to grab a couple hours and still get paid for the whole or half day.

Cafeteria! That makes sense. I'm sure we had wooden chairs in the older buildings, but I can't remember what we had in the science bit, when it wasn't stools. Shit...the things my mind will dredge up, and those it won't.
