Good news from my office isn't in terms of tangible gains, but my superior attended a meeting with the client whose project I've been working on since last summer and they're vocal about how thrilled they are by the work we've been doing. Bodes well for continued business from them in the future, so yay! to job security.

I should go buy an avocado so I can eat it for lunch tomorrow, but I'm all comfy on the couch now. It's a dilemma.

Rats. Now I want an avocado with sea salt, except that they give me horrendous stomach cramps. Everyone else, please eat ALL THE AVOCADOS, for me, because I can't. Then come back and tell me all about them so I can live vicariously.
I can't eat it anymore either. Let's just say I can't digest them and leave it there. I found out I liked them and shortly found out the feeling is not reciprocated. bummer.
Bummer, erika. I'm sorry to have this sad trait in common with any other Buffista. I mean, it's infinitely more specific and less difficult than lactose or gluten intolerance, but it's definitely a little sad this time of year.

and YAY ME!!! The job is mine if the hiring manager can work through whatever politics are at play. There is something going on that HR has alluded to, but he has no idea what it really is. He said that as long as it is not my Big Boss saying he does not want me hired, then he will try to make it work asap. YAY!!! If it can get resolved, I will be drowning in work for a while, so not on here from work, but OMG if I could be gone in a month THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! I hope I hear something tomorrow.
