Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, I think fresh cranberries are my new favorite thing to put in baked goods -- I love the tart/sour in the middle of the sweet.

I assume some combination of margin of error and...I don't know, Herman Cain and Alan Keyes' wives?

Jesse beat me to Condi!

Our wings are not tired.

My people are Christian and Democrats! (Including my more religiously conservative relatives.)

My parents are Catholic and seriously pro-life. I'm quite confident that life of the mother would not be an exception for them. Also completely opposed to death penalty on the same moral grounds. Yet, they voted for Obama this time and last because their religious beliefs and their political beliefs are distinct things. They are kinda in the nuns camp where they believe in compassion and doing unto others and all that. They also don't buy trickle down and believe in education, research and development, science, global warming and protecting our environment. I was raised by people that think religious personal decisions aren't to be dictated by government. Huh, what a concept.

Thrive to spite them

"Christian" means more evangelical than mainline Protestant

If someone is Evangelical it doesn't automatically mean they are conservative. Most conservative Christians are Evangelical but Fred Clark who started Slacktivist considers himself Evangelical but he's very liberal.

And apparently the girl from Clueless.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I changed my mind at the last minute because I was afraid I would jinx Obama by voting for Jill Stein, since I voted for Nader in the Gore/Bush race. And I know one other person who did the same thing.

Amazing!

If someone is Evangelical it doesn't automatically mean they are conservative.

I know -- I wasn't making a political distinction there.
